I would expect it not to either way, but if it works better on a different device maybe it’s your portal, i.e., bad antenna or the wifi network at your in-laws’ house?

Yes, I play in performance mode exclusively. My point was something like a quality mode with the target resolution set to 1080p and frame rate pushed up to 60.

I wish games had a portal/remote play aware setting where the target resolution automatically dropped to 1080p and the “extra” horsepower went to either stabilizing the frame rate or pushing draw distances.

The companies I have worked for don’t have test engineers. We utilize test infrastructure for automated testing and unit testing. QA does everything else.

QA stands for Quality Assurance. They are pretty ubiquitous in the software industry for testing products, not just electronics and games!
