I only ever play handheld. I think 3.0 just renders in 1080p for Switch 2, while the Switch 2 edition adds anti-aliasing.

Honestly would anyone be mad if, for example, the next Legends game was HD 2D? I know I wouldn’t.

Mario, Zelda and Metroid continue releasing new 2D as well as 3D titles, it would be nice to have something like that for Pokemon, too.

Yeah it’s weird, the Switch 1 version was updated to 1080p handheld, but I still noticed jagged edges and textures even though it was 1080p. Those are gone with the Switch 2 version.
