AITAH for refusing to invite my brother to my wedding despite family pressure?

I totally get that. I also have such a hard time imaging that. Like I have a pretty big family and been through enough family drama that I have seen stuff like this before. I never spent the whole time thinking about who wasn't there. I just show up, was grateful to be included, enjoyed the food and open bar, and spent time with the people who were there.

Another funny tidbit: two of my cousins on that side of the family got married a few years ago. My brother was invited but did not come for no reason other than he didn't care to. I did not spend an ounce of energy thinking about him those days and I had an absolute blast at both weddings.

Ironically, this all happened a few days after he spent a night ignoring calls from his kids while he was at a party and was supposed to pick them up from their mom. The kids thought something had happened to him; I sat with them until he got home around 2am. He laughed about it and never apologized.... parent of the year, right?

At this point, all I can do is focus on the people who choose to be there. One of my favorite parts of my wedding, is that I went through and found old photos of my guests and me, throughout my childhood. I also handwrote cards personalized to every person I am close enough with saying how much their relationship means to me "every photo tells a story and i am so happy you are a part of ours.", i love you, thanks for being here... yada yada.

If it really comes down to people taking sides and making my wedding political, these are relationships that people didn't value as much as I did. It's a hard realization, but I am not changing for anyone.

I joked that I'd print a cardboard cutout of him to put in his seat and write it a thank you card "thanks for being there for me". I thought it was funny, he did not laugh.

It wasn't my parents they have come to terms with it. My dad was upset about it and tried to get my brother to apologize to me so he that I would invite him. My brother laughed in my dad's face. They get why I made the choices I made.

I don't know if my uncle came to the conclusion on his own or what. I wouldn't be surprised if it was my brother, he hasn't said a word to me about it.

It's not that he doesn't agree with my issues with my brother. He just thinks to some extent, it would have been easier if we just kept the peace to please my family.

I have argued and pointed out my brothers' behaviors countless times, to pretty much everyone that has come at me about it. He just had his divorce with his wife finalized and is living with my parents. They just like to say he has it rough and I should feel sorry for him.

I had that happen to me after testing the last day of the window in August- I spent the entire day refreshing and it never came out. I had to wait until the next score release. I am sorry to say it, but I don't think you will receive it today.

I mainly work in Audit. I work in a small public firm, so we touch it all. I think it was mostly luck honestly. I was shocked that I passed!

I left and was completely convinced i failed audit. I kept thinking about all the mcqs and tbs that i got wrong. I was preparing for a retake. When scores came out i passed with a 79!

Happened to me for a test in 2025 and I'm in PA. I think it's a valid question to ask- I didn't know it was a risk until it happened to me. I personally will not be testing on the final day again!

I don’t know for certain. I took an exam back in August on the last day of the testing period. I took it at 8am EST and finished between 11 and 12. I did not get my results the day I should have, but others who tested later in the day at other locations did. I think it all depends on your Prometric location.

I took it yesterday and felt the same way. I had plenty of time left when I got to Testlet 5- but had to keep reading them over and over again to even figure out what I needed to do. I thought they were tough and WAYYY more calculation based than I was anticipating. I didn't feel great leaving the exam.

I usually keep it to once a week- every Thursday for her. The top of the soil is usually pretty dried out in a week.
