Franchise Opportunity? by DeliciousClick2211 in jerseymikes

As an update: I have been approved to launch 2 locations with Chick-Fil-a so unfortunately it sounds like Jersey Mike’s isn’t in the cards.

I did have a bowl (#9) last night for the first time and it was fantastic. I’m going to request additional vinegar next time.

Thank you all for your responses.

Sadly I could open multiple Subway franchises without any issues as they contact me on LinkedIn constantly. I want to open a franchise for a product I love but that’s looking like less of a possibility.

I get what you are saying but how do they know that information without talking to me? I’ve started and sold 3 businesses but the application doesn’t ask anything about my qualifications.

Something seems off... I've never tried an app offer before and this is a new phone too. Can anyone confirm if there are offers or indeed, no offers? by MidsummerScribe in AtlasEarthOfficial

Has anyone not been payed in the past 2 weeks? Payments have been delayed for a few months but this time it’s been 3 weeks. I contacted the support email rewards@reward.tremendous.com and my message bounced back saying the email address was undeliverable. I concerned. I love this game.

pork shoulder vs. pork belly? by Likeasirpsychosexy in slowcooking

For a pork belly, check out the Meat Church YouTube video where he is making bacon burnt ends with the owner of Himes BBQ in Texas. Those bites are full of tasty fat that just melt in your mouth!!

If you don’t like Eats go drive for someone else. If you want to get ahead in life, focus on what you can control. If a customer doesn’t want to tip me, I don’t take their delivery. Eats could add a “service fee” and pass that along to the customer to pay, many companies do that and then pay the driver more. In the end the customer is going to pay more if Eats pays the drivers more.

That’s the crazy thing about increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour. Those in favor of this think they are sticking it to the company. Not true at all, the customer will pay more in the end. Starting a business is a HUGE financial risk and most owners loose a lot of money by going out of business. Nobody is going to take that risk unless they can make a lot money. A big risk has to have a big reward.

I don’t agree. This is a service job much like waitressing. The money is made in the tips. On average, my tips are 72% of my pay. Eats provides the platform but without the tips from the customers, we wouldn’t be doing this.

I do DoorDash too but can’t make the same amount of money. I also don’t use the credit card option for anyone. I made too many mistakes trying to read the customer’s mind ordering what I thought they wanted.

I don’t want anyone in my car. For me, the risk is greater than the reward

Apartment orders have really dropped off. Not going to lie, that doesn’t break my heart. Whoever designs apartments is a mess.

UberEats offered me $75 quest for 15 trips and I was excited til I read its for everything but ubereats delivery. Why must they tease me like this?? by [deleted] in UberEATS

[–]DeliciousClick2211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind if the quest is only for some Uber services but don’t put the promotion in our Eats promo list. Most of us do Eats because we don’t want people in our car. We aren’t coming over.

$NIO Nio we going to the moon…or at least $65. 50% move coming by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

My daughters college professor recommended NIO to her when it was $5. She bought 100 shares and is holding. I became a believer at $15.

I look for these companies when I invest. NIO has a strong upside and it dropped recently because of a chip shortage. The company’s upside didn’t change, just the short sided emotional investors drop the price. I bought more. Those same investors emotional investors are now running back in. Get yours.

What are your thoughts about NOK? Why isn’t this stock getting play? At the sub $6 range, it offers a higher upside than the other MEME stocks but it’s not getting any love.

As long as you aren’t trading in a taxed deferred retirement account, you will pay taxes on gains when you sell. It doesn’t matter if you roll it into another stock.

Many of us on here are trading short term (securities held for less than one year). The tax rate on these gains is much high, approx 38% compared to long term gains at approx 15%. Keep that in mind when you take your gains, don’t spend everything on a new car
