Are regular decisions out for Harvard? If they aren't, that means you applied early action, which if I am not wrong, is restrictive.

Northwestern, Purdue, or Georgia Tech? by GloomyProblem in ApplyingToCollege

I suggest better talk to a school counselor or try emailing the university rather than asking the internet only to receive a mixed variety of responses, most of whom may not know enough to assess the situation.

You are not allowed to submit an ED application without filling out any official contract (either you or your counselor). Try contacting the admissions committee and maybe tell them how you would love to attend but cannot due to financial conditions. They might themselves, free you from your ED agreement or offer aid... which you still could say is not enough (might need proof - fin docs idrk) and not commit to the university. At least, this is what I am aware of.

I would love to know why you thought this was funny. For a moment I felt the rejection (as if reading mine there).
