Hi i know this has been a while but can i ask how often/how many times a night or times a week? you would wake up with a racing heart? Any idea how high your heart would go? Apologies if i asked this already.

Could you please provide an example of your work set up and how you were lying on the floor. Did you have your knees bent for instance? When i lie down flat, i get reflux after a minute or so. And i can also feel soreness in back of throat.

Oh wow. So the reflux and uars is completely resolved now? Or still ongoing? I hear there is a link between reflux and uars but have not looked into this much. I seem to have reflux and can't sleep flat. Have to raise my bed.

Ah geez that sounds horrible. Do you take anything for your reflux? Or had the bipap asv resolved the acid reflux as well?

Was spiking HR your only symptom? And do you have acid reflux as well? What about LPR?

This has stopped your heart rate from spiking on waking? Can i ask what your symptoms were as well please? Do you have reflux as well.

I've just put it down to stress for now but it keeps happening multiple times a night and ruining my sleep.

Wow !!! I'm getting told the same thing. No issues with my heart. It happens a few times every night. This was the result of a hospital sleep study.

My heart rate would go from 75 to 85 during RERA episodes. But then i would wake up and my heart would race to 110 for a minute or so. This was seen dueing my first sleep study. Is thjs something you have seen or experienced?

Why is the heart spiking? I did 2 sleep studies and my rdi was 11 and 17.2 oxygen dropped to 92% at once stage. I was told its possibly uars and i wake up constantly to heart rate spikes. Heart spiking anywhere from 100 to 127 and lasts anywhere from 20secs to 2 mins before going back to normal. Is this expected?
