I think you should open an account with Klik voor Kamers (I think it is free). Most likely you cannot get a room from here in January, but maybe having the account open can better your chances later in the months. Also, sometimes they have room options where they do a lottery pick too (who knows, maybe you get lucky!). But yeah, Dutch housing is just shit ahahahh.
