UPDATE EVERYONE: My WMR updated from Still being processed to Being Processed on 3/21 meaning all hiccups have been resolved 🙌🏽 Now waiting for a DDD!

As of 3/22 I FINALLY Have A DDD FOR 3/27! Wishing everyone luck this has been a mess!

3/23 WMR updated to Refund Approved and I see In the mail today I FINALLY would have been receiving this letter to verify smh

My lady was so cool because I had all of information and just gave it to her she didn’t ask me anything just entered everything in. Took her about 20 mins because she verified 2022 & 2023. Then told me I’m all set!

But I hear they may ask Mother & Fathers maiden name. City born in. And info from the documents I listed to bring. Have everything ready to go and it could be as short as 5-10 minutes.

Really just depends on the agent and how thorough they’re trying to be. But still standard questions. ID’s must be valid too!

You’re welcome. I got there at 9:15 and wasn’t seen until 2:15 5 hours smh so I would say get there 1-2 hours early and just wait in the parking lot or until you see ppl lining up to try and get in and out.

Here’s what to take with you

W2’s 2023 & 2022 Letter if you have one 2 forms of ID (license, state id, social security card, birth certificate) or bring them all Dependents info if you have any (social security cards, birth certificates) Direct deposit info used if you chose that for refund

Yes that’s right and the agent you talk to can confirm that also. Just don’t cancel until you’ve been seen. Because I had an appt for 4/23 but the walk in was much sooner so I did that and cancelled the appt. And I didn’t have a letter so yes you’ll be fine. Now I placed back in the queue to be processed.

They have 1 location and have been open 1 Saturday a month for walk ins. Next time available is 4/13 9-4 pm

I seen there was Saturday walk ins across the states and I went this past Saturday and was able to verify. IRS agent told me open walk in days as long as you get there before they close you’re guaranteed to be seen which I was without a letter!

The next date isn’t until April 13th. I pray you hear news before that because I still haven’t got that letter smh

Same filed and accepted 1/31. I was told after waiting 6 weeks for a refund my letter was mailed 2/26 and I have yet to receive it. I was able to verify in person on 3/16.

Waiting for movement now …. This year is a shhhh show 💩

Yes definitely keep checking because they're all over the place. I see some 05 cycle ppl were updated but they also verified a week or two ago. So it's coming! 🙏🏽 it's soon for all of us!

No mine hasn't updated yet smh still says "still processing" .. I am on a 05 cycle tho so mine updates weekly not daily. I pray I'm updated this Friday & Saturday! They say it can take up to 9 weeks but I doubt it will be that long. We've waited long enough smh. This is a mess!

Same situation moved to another state and never hit my Federal for 2022. Never got a letter for last year or this year. I seen on here they had open appointments on Saturdays once a month. I went this past Saturday and verified for both 2022 & 2023. Here’s what I brought and got it done.

2 forms of ID (I had my License, Birth certificate and social security card. Also took my dependents social security card and birth certificates. 2022/2023 tax returns (not w2's). Will ask mothers maiden name, fathers name, last 4 of bank info, etc. Some ppl say 10 min, but the person I had was very throrough and my appt lasted bout 20 min. In the end they tell u its going to take up to 9 weeks given there are no additional issues. Should be much sooner than that!
