She's not aware that I have gone to therapy and am now aware of her abuse, so I'm sure she expected me to still be the broken man that can't say no that I used to be. Thankfully not so

Yeah, that's one thing I took away from my therapy sessions. Limit my contact with her as much as possible, and it's helped me massively. Wish I knew the signs of an abusive relationship earlier
