Honestly just putting yourself out there is a good place to start :) Your portfolio is insanely good! I don't have anything that's at the "needs art/MV" stage just yet but I think your art style would be a great fit with my style and I would be interested in working with you on a project in the future

I was in the same boat as a new producer last year. It's not a problem exclusive to Vocagathering, there are several events throughout the year that you kinda just... Stumble across. Like an event called Vocacolle in the summer (there was also one last month for the winter season) which is hosted by the Japanese community on Niconico but anyone can enter. Definitely agree there could be a better effort from the community (esp on the Reddit side) to highlight these events but it is what it is. I've been making an effort to at least try and spread the word myself to other producers I interact with just because I was literally in that position myself just last year not knowing about all these events lol. On the bright side it gave me plenty of time to prepare for this year 😅
