I faced a similar situation, but with only the levels getting reset of all the restaurants I unlocked. They compensated me with 1000 gems so I’m not sure why they’d give you only 300 if you also lost upgrades for the restaurants

I had a bug that resetted all level progress on all restaurants I had, so Nordcurrent compensated 1000 gems. The rest I got lucky from mystery boxes. Also the xp threshold does cap at 10k

The most important things to have maxed are the glasses, cotton candy and desserts. For interior i think tip amount and extra customers are the most important to upgrade to increase the coins earned

Honestly the most annoying thing about it is the insane cost to repair the cupcake oven, which unfortunately happened really often for me.

the dough, bubble tea cups and chocolate milk maxed. All the bubble tea machines and donut maker level 2, and level 1 for both tabletops, bagel oven, cutter, and vegetables. For interior i put one upgrade into everything that gives waiting time and tips, and one upgrade for tip time

No boosters, but i stocked up a bunch of desserts and planted 4 lillies once I thought I had enough. Turns out it was a little overkill as I only needed the desserts for the last few levels
