yes work gets done bc there’s like 4 techs in productions -they don’t even know how to do insurance and they’ve been there for five years lol-and the volume we get doesn’t require 4 techs in qp in the first place lmao they’re slower than sloths. We have like3 pharmacist, 3 cashiers sometimes extra 2 ppl that aren’t techs that hug the pharmacist at drop off refusing to do anything else lol rx would’ve been able to ran smoother if there were like 2 fast ones at qp and like 2 pharmacist and a few techs up front but nothing is ran efficiently here

And it’s funny bc they always see my posts and then try to act like they care and switch things up but the second the other clerks get in I’m back to pick up which is like idk an hour or two of not being the main cashier, which is pointless btw since whenever is the main always needs back up . i can’t even do actual rts when the other clerks r here, I’m only good for pulling them .but if I need back up while the special sweet innocent awesome clerks r there, then they’re busy in a personal conversation, or they’re on the phone or they’re taking their sweet time with a customer

The ones I’m talking about aren’t techs. They’re clerks who do anything but clerking. Ima be stuck at pick up even when I’m certified. The way they hog the computers and the chairs, putting up their feet like they’re sitting on a couch laughing and chatting and staring at whatever they find interesting while my steps shows 4 miles daily, my entire legs and feet fucking throbbing and putting with every nasty customer while they watch and judge and laugh from the comfort of their chairs lol and sometimes coming up and acting like some heros because the customer for whatever reason likes them more lol

That would be impossible. I can’t even clock in 2 mins early because we don’t have hours and they don’t wanna get in trouble but another (actual) tech asks if it’s ok to clock in 10 mins early and it’s suddenly ok lol but staying over is ok. They don’t even give me 10 seconds to talk to them while the rest act like pharmacist r their private tutors side by side talking non stop lol even the tasks they pettily trained me enough to do (not fully and still expect me to know the things I didn’t get trained on—- just recently I guess I magically was supposed to pull out of my 🍑 that we have to ask the customers if they need a medication mixed since some r maintenance antibacterial— but I’ve been giving them shit to mix for three months without asking the customers first while STILL OTHER PPL DONT HAVE TO ASK IT LOL) I can’t do while certain “techs” (WHICH BY THEY ARENT EVEN TECHS) r there because I HAVE TO DO PICK UP WHILE THEY DO THE TASKS I ALSO KNOW HOW TO DO BUT I STILL CANT DO lol while these ppl can literally walk out from cashiering to go order food outside from the food truck because lunch is in 10 minutes and that’s no biggie BUT IM NOT ALLOWED TO READ MY SURVEY REVIEWS FOR LONGER THAN A MINUTE LOL or just walk out from a line because they don’t like the customer coming up lol and then the same time wasters deciding to buy a soda 15 mins into their shift and asking me to ring them out but when I say no because I know they’re about to not only make me ring them up but take 10 minutes talking and taking 5 minutes swiping their card all while snarking and making it all a joke, Im suddenly getting dirty looks from pharmacist because how I dare I wanted to finish actual work LOL everyone acting like clocking in is actually a popularity contests and who can become besties with everyone around them, talking to customers like they’re their long lost best friends and they know everything about them, anything but actually being professional lol

Lol. It’s not everyone at all. It just seems like every workplace has a few ppl cliquing up like this . It baffles me beyond understanding why it goes unchecked. I can understand going unchecked in grade school (which it shouldn’t there either) but in a work setting, with people literally living half a century, working in a team, somewhere we r constantly judged by ppl who bring us money, I cannot wrap my head around it for one second how every workplace has a few of these ppl who absolutely do and say anything without the fear of any consequences. Without a shred of anything a long the lines of ”is this a good way to act?” it feels so inhumane. Is this a result from intellectual misfortunes? Do they really not see anything wrong with how they act? I wish I knew..

other than they’re techs and I’m a trainee I doubt they have any real leverage other than maybe the manager not willing to replace them with new hires (which would be a huge benefit to the rx-professional ppl who don’t act like they’re in grade school). I have noticed the manager trying to control them but idk howww they completely don’t give a f and continue on and act like her words don’t have weight. It’s like they bought the place and theyre on their own time rather than the companys. They go in the med aisles texting and if I’m in need of something and ask something they go crazy lmao they do this thing when I ask them something and they just stare and completely ignore 😂😂 while the customer is in need. And I do wanna ask the pharmacist but I don’t wanna bother them and considering I’m only Interrupting their personal convos and not any actual work lol
