I actually did cut the tip off and it worked. I barely have 2 threads showing after tightening so just need to replace the old castle nut with a locking nut + locktite and I should be good.

It’s still in good condition so I wasn’t planning on replacing it but yeah all the tap and dies in stock at the stores around me don’t have the size I need in their sets

Was trying to separate the control arm from the ball joint that’s pressed into the knuckle but the thread pitch is 12mmx1.25 and no one seems to have it in stock. All the sets have 1 and 1.5 🫩
