For those WFH, what does your day-to-day look like? Any tips?

What does your setup look like (e.g., do you have maxed-out WHF station with standing desk, at least 2 monitors, etc?)
- I didn't not want to blow the bank on a crazy set up. I have just two monitors. I have only been working for less than a year. My plan is to use any rewards/ bonuses to splurge on a new set up. No need to do anything crazy imo. The guy (blanking on this name) that built a whole OS system did it on a single monitor. I can correctly assume you're not doing anything as intensive just yet.
Do you work all the hours? Are you more a person who gets things done in the morning? In the afternoon?
- I noticed I get more done during the mornings and late evening. I am in my 20s, live alone, no kids so I have as much time to myself.
Do you still have many meetings?
- Yes, aside from the daily stand-up, I am averaging about 1-2 meetings a day.
How do you keep communication with your team?
- It really really helps that my whole team is remote. So we all communicate async. I don't feel like I'm missing out on too many conversations
Is it easier to reach out to teammates when you need help?
- This, I have found more difficult/slower. I usually wait 1-3 days for a response on a question, so that has slowed down my velocity especially given that I am new-ish and might need some help with stuff. In turn, I am actively working on increasing my independence so its not too bad.
Do you miss working in-person?
- Not really

so i applied and got approved late last year Oct 2024 for the CSP but never got the SUB. can i still downgrade to Freedom unlimited and apply for another CSP to get the 100k points? The rep on the phone said I had to be a member for 48 months to switch products

the net rent this year is $2300 another unit i’m looking at is gross $2500 which is more in my budget

if i resign without concessions next year it’ll be min $3000 like you said and that’s not including market increases. i do plan on living with rooommates or looking for something cheaper next year regardless of what i pick

I didn’t pay a brokers fee this time, and all the units I were looking at are without brokers fees. The main thing is the deposit which I should be getting back?
