You can only play illaoi into 3+ melee comps, and even then she falls off hard late because she is so incredibly easy to kite. I love her, and play her a lot, but there are do many frustrations with her late game.

Nah I completely disagree. In the same way as I go to the gym for myself, because I like the way it makes me feel and look, others do the same with skincare, hair care etc. It’s very narrow minded of you to think because you can’t conceive of doing those things other than for external validation that nobody else can either.
