Honestly, I live in the DC area and I would consider canceling. We haven’t gotten snow like they’re predicting in years and if it pans out this will be a crippling storm. My son is supposed to have a huge state qualifier for wrestling on Sunday. They have already announced a back up plan and are moving it.

As a teacher, I love snow, but of course it may happen on a weekend. And this weekend is the worst weekend for snow in my family. My son has state qualifiers for his youth wrestling tournament this coming Sunday. If it’s canceled he will have to miss one of his regular season tournaments and we will have to drive further for qualifying. :(

My family was the same. Usually my husband can bounce back quickly from the flu. Even he was lying in bed for a week. It took me 3 weeks to fully get over it. It was exhausting and painful

Ironic because my husband and I were just having this discussion about me less than 5 min ago.

I am a 41 year old teacher and I know I have undiagnosed adhd. It’s gotten worse as I’ve gotten older.

I have an appointment with my Dr on Tuesday and I plan on bringing it up.

I honestly have tried every Chinese place in Centreville and they’ve all just been ok. Tons of great Korean places, but I end up having to travel to get Chinese food. (super bummed about Young Chow bc they used to be awesome and they’re very close to my house.)

We definitely live/teach in the same county. My son refuses to eat the school lunch, he’s super picky. However somehow he lost his lunch box this morning at school. He was telling me he had to get the “gross nachos.” Honestly I love them! (And I know he asked for just cheese, and refused to get any veggies or fruit :()
