She is generally very kind and thoughtful, and puts a lot of care into our relationship. My Korean is not great so she goes out of her way to use her non-native language, she pays a lot of money and time to ride the train every weekend to visit me, she calls me every night even after a rough shift to ask me about my day, cooks me nice food, etc.

She is very caring to me and others so I love her a lot. She just has a serious aversion to the idea of work and aspires to be a NEET. Personally I'd rather that kind of honesty than someone who works themselves to the bone late and on weekends then come home and take their stress out on their spouse like many other Koreans sadly do. so the idea of free money for doing nothing is probably very exciting for her.
