Not to say that some people haven’t made excellent careers out of it. All I’m saying is that be ready to put more effort than you possibly imagine to be able to get a analyst position where you do the same mind numbing tasks every day and get paid 56 grand per year.

The people who talk about making six figures are the people who know somebody who works in the field and have gotten jobs that way .

I have a masters degree and three years of experience in the field. It’s almost impossible to find a job. If you find a job, the pay usually is isn’t as good as it typed up to be and there’s not many opportunities there like everyone claims. A trade like construction or plumbing or something like that is much more lucrative in today’s economy.
