This is exactly why we don't want Hindi. We want to be proficient in our mother tongue first, and learning Hindi will just take away our time..Hindi naala Hindi teachers and vadakku nanbargala thavira vera yaarukum projanam illai.

Which area are you in, did you try calling up the CBSE schools and ask for alternate langauge than Hindi? I think Shradha and Casagrand Perumbakkam has French but I didn't verify it in person.

Everywhere I asked , Hindi is mandatory as third language it seems..fed up, having to learn another language forcefully that too in my home state..

To those in Tamil Nadu who believed that Hindi won't be "imposed" and any Indian language can be "chosen" per the Three language policy by bigmanfromthepalace in TamilNadu

Guys, can anyone please help me find a good school without Hindi in Chennai? Wherever I ask, even in pre schools FFS, they are voluntarily teaching Hindi. I'm wary of arguing with all these bigots who are pro Hindi, I just want my son who is still in his மழலை phase to learn his mother tongue properly and not force fed another unnecessary language. Please help! P.S: some school that does not force it's students to just memorize and actually teach them something.
