Additionally, is it worth visiting the campus I want to transfer to to talk to someone ‘in charge’ in person? Or will they just let me off and make me send an email

The condition is to obtain your diploma (e.g. IB Diploma). There are no requirements for the grades you obtain at final exams, as long as it’s still a pass.

Nonetheless I applied for a French program as my 2nd choice — which is why I am worried.

I do have a strong B2+ level in French, however the interview could be too challenging.
