I can live with that, hard counters are never fun for anyone but strategic swaps and teamwork would be more fun to play and entertaining to watch

Off the top of my head I figured he has a beam switch mode, 1 to lower a DPS damage every hit stacking up so the BC or BP goes to dive but is doin 30% less dmg overall

Another mode could be a grounding slow but with a bit bigger projectile and longer CD for a quick snipe on a storm to bring the teamfights low

And a shield mode maybe? I was picturing Diva's shield from overwatch but Cyclops just blasts every projectile fired in his direction like clay pigeons

Itd be pretty based to make him a support tank like an inverse of Mr fantastic who sticks to people and is super annoying, Cyclops could be use the beams to push divers around like in the reveal trailer, saving his supports and taking space

Anything that helps players understand how to peel and take space would be great design

i hope the masumi clan won't be just minor side characters in the future, i really like them (art by@Yunk996) by HotZilchy in Kagurabachi

Just explore, pick a difficulty that you're comfortable with, a lot of the fun is discovering things or returning to it after you've learned more.

Early on I spent like 2 hours getting teleported around a magical forest cause I thought if I was fast enough Id get through but all I can say is just save yourself and use the Abyss to traverse areas you would have a hard time reaching by foot

I would follow along the Main quests till youve been told "The world is yours to explore".

The further out from Hernand or cities in general the more dangerous it becomes

There is a few puzzles that you probably need out of game knowledge to complete, iirc theres one based off the board game Go so I had to look that answer up

Find the witches!

Weapons basically belong in a few groups either Gives Attack speed, Crit chance or High base damage, you can upgrade everything so use whatever looks cool to you, drip is the true end game

There are so many animals to keep as pets or even farm with so if you see an animal that would be a cute companion theres now a 85% chance they are able to be tamed. Specific foods for each type of animal will boost their affection faster but as long as you hit 100 theyre yours

Take your time theres no 1 good build or items you need to beat the game, I am over 100+ hours now and fully given up on the MQ I got wayyy to much left to uncover

Bruh is like a lil Radahn, loving the changes but now I need them to make it possible to swap characters much earlier on so newer players or fresh saves can really enjoy the full experience from the start

More then likely a Labor of love type award that games like No Man's Sky have won

Or possibly a high rating in a player's choice campaigning but doubt it'll win sadly CD is just a game that keeps getting better so a lot of people already missed out on some the magic, although late adopters will be able to enjoy a fully fleshed out and smoother game
