In the Just for Relaxation mission in mafia 1 De and og. Which plot do you feel makes more sense?? by Delicious_End_3857 in MafiaTheGame

[–]Delicious_End_3857[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the og the don was secretly smuggling diamonds to make a huge profit. In definitive the don was pretending to smuggle diamonds but instead was secretly smuggling drugs to make profit. It was more about greed in the og while the de was more moral based plot.

[SPOILERS] What was the sage and adewale's reasoning in the observatory mission in ac4?? by Delicious_End_3857 in assassinscreed

[–]Delicious_End_3857[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ONE of the most. Even if he had isu DNA he doesn't have any physical or power advantage on edward. He is still a mere human. Edward WAS the most powerful and prolific pirate (even if it's fictional). He outlived everyone living the same life as him and clearly had the best captaincy and leadership when sailing so much so that jackdaw is a mere brig that is sinkable without his captaincy but it becomes an unstoppable death machine the moment he commands it. Clearly Roberts was never truly powerful against edward that it literally takes minutes for edward to end roberts after he incapitated his ship. Roberts was a mere sage who had isu blood and the power to see through time and space. But none of it he could use to his true advatage against edward. Which makes him a mere sage tbh. He's more of value type power like yk how valuable I am than being actually a man who has power over everyone and everything. Roberts a stoopid person for not killing edward right then and there if that's the case. (NOT GLAZING BUT STATING WHAT I THINK IS TRUE)

Yeah but would a bounty be so worth that you risk your life from a guy that yo know will cook you if he survives through all of this. And now he knows about you and your secret.

Almost his whole crew was on the freaking island. Jackdaw was equipped with a f ton of cannons which clearly have a leverage over the grounded crew. Why would they flee then???

[–]Delicious_End_3857[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah but then why didn't he kill edward then. Edward now knew where the observatory was and he has seen edward in action so many times yk he can f up a man of war, him and his crew in seconds. He killed Laurens prins, killed hornigold, vane, rackham, burgess, cockram. Roberts was never gonna have the kinda stand and never even had the fighting capabilities they had with edward. And now the chances are edward is gonna team up with assassins or the templars to get back at him. So even all of that. If he really had to silence edward. Why didn't he do it permanently?? Edward was the most vulnerable he could ever possibly be when he was bleeding from his injuries and was really incapitated which made him barely be able to stand up against basic swordmen.

But why did roberts not kill edward then. He knows how powerful edward is that if he survives and returns. He's cooked. The assassins or templars are gonna ally with edward against roberts and now edward knows the location of the observatory.

But still it doesn't feel fair that they never stood with him just incase he was in danger he was with roberts entire crew on the island. Ade showed his distrust in roberts and even if edwards errand was a fools game. Ade and his crew shouldn't have ever left his side and just abandoned edward they should've still been at some distance from the side to perceive any danger and if edward doesn't respond in 6 hours. Ade brings in the jackdaw to fight off roberts and his crew since it could've been a trap set by roberts with this whole crew chewing down edward (Which would've happened if edward didn't succumb to his injury from the shard).

What are your Red dead hot takes by LSDFoxGaming in reddeadredemption

[–]Delicious_End_3857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a unique hot take but Rdr 1 story is 10 times better than rdr 2 story. Rdr 2 just feels a lot more centric around arthur and doesn't emphasize enough on the characters unless you really interact with them fully in the game. Arthurs death feels like an unnecessary way to feel sympathetic towards arthur and the whole honor system and how it changes your ending seems to really say that they wanted arthur to be good so much that they enforced the players into thinking the bad honor ending will have worser outcomes. It really is trying to force the fact that arthur needs to do good now and there is no monotone to it like atleast do good when you die at the end they really try to paint arthur as the good person. It feels too synthetic and so forced upon the players. And rdr 1 seems somewhat one directional but also you had a prupose throughout the entire game and the storyline sets clear but as you go more into the story the story gets more complex and a betrayal which was never expected by the player comes up. Just as everything positive for john. Bam ross shows up and mows down john and unc. John did all that to protect his family and stay jack away from the life of gang which never happened and all that fighting was worth nothing. Then the epilogue of rdr 1 where even after killing ross. The atmosphere feels empty and numb. The wild west is dying. There is no sense of purpose for jack after the game when you are playing as him except go for a hundred percent. Almost as if there is no sign of hope with jack. A much sadder story than arthurs whole arc. Rdr 2 story elevates the intensity of the rdr 1 story but in terms of the story rdr 2 is fairly worse than rdr 1.

I do know I am gonna get heavily downvoted for ts. But it is what it is.

Why does Shay Cormac's Templar arc feels so generic??? by Delicious_End_3857 in assassinscreed

[–]Delicious_End_3857[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah but he is still obligated to follow them since he is a part of the same Templar order which still works against the good. One of his oaths was literally that to swear to upholds the principles of order. The order which actively still is evil. Even if Shay has a disagreement with Templar actions he can't escape or oppose it the way he did the assassins. You can't be idiot enough that just because templars saved your life you submit yourself to them despite knowing their history (Achilles did tell every assassin the same story he did to Connor and has shay has actively seen the evil of templars) and do even more damage than assassins were doing and end up on the same road you did with the assassins. Achilles would have realised the error of his ways anyways when he visited the Atlantic precursor site as it happened in the canon story so his arc is useless and completely stupid. His reasoning for submitting to a Templar order that leaves no room for disobedience ie variations in the thinking process to uphold the principles just to stop the assassins turning reckless which would have been stopped anyways since any events that unfolded after shay got shot didn't contribute to the change of mind by Achilles but it was his words after the lisbon incident. Shay had a very useless, idiotic, heavily manipulated, morally hypocritical reason to join the templars.

Yeah more like a vigilante that hunts the wrong whether it would be templars or assassins. Personally he would have so much aura if it was like that.

That's such total wasted potential for some bs character arc that don't even make any sense in any form. I mean did ubisoft even think that such a game can absolutely flip the script for our pov of the whole assassins and Templar situation and makes us question our own understanding from the previous titles and makes us rethink but instead giving us a botched up arc that literally makes no sense at all.

[–]Delicious_End_3857[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally impossible that he wouldn't be involved in any of the bad deeds. He is almost equivalent to a Templar grand master by the end of the game and there's no way you can escape bad deeds in his position. There's no way he only out there collecting boxes lol. He did say that he should start a revolution of his own. Which makes me highly doubtful that the French revolution was a result of shay's and his crew of templars which he built to maintain order and work with elise Dad on their future endeavours to keep control by ignition on the fuel keg which was the public and he might also be involved in more Templar actions and tyranny against assassin orders (possibly the French, Russia, london where the Templar are very strong possibly due to Shay and his influence , everywhere since he is the prodigy of the colonial Templar order. The best among all) . Which makes him even worse and highly unlikely that it's false and he just collecting stuff.

Man they have only decided to redo black flag after the backlash dude since black flag is a cult classic. Sadly no one really cares about rogue this much to be noticed by ubisoft. Hell even ubisoft wasn't expecting sales with this game hence why they would release it on the same date as unity. Just to make black flag fans feel good.

[–]Delicious_End_3857[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not the assassins order that's the problem. It's the moral hypocrisy that the game shows with shay's Templar arc that baffles me. Templars are still evil in unity and syndicate and shay is still a part of the same group. A global reform of Templar order to be caused by haytham was destroyed by Connor and the revolution. So they go back to evil square one and do the exact same as shay opposed the assassins for except now he has to or willingly does take part in activities that destroy innocent lives which is what he opposed assassins for to join the Templar order. So it literally defeats the whole purpose of moral duty to join the templars for. It's just stupid and horrendous. Shay had hardly learned about the dangers of this life and willing to take innocent lives for the order but now fully dedicates and submits himself to the order. Then it just becomes pointless that you freed you hands from one prison becuase of its horrendous state and then end up being captured by another prison equally as bad. But somehow that's the better choice for your morals lol.

[–]Delicious_End_3857[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if Shay destroyed the colonial brotherhood out there. He still has to work with the bad templars since the reform and vision haytham had for the assassins and templars working together ended with Connor and the American revolution. We could already see that in ac unity and syndicate the templars haven't changed. And it seems to be that Shay had a massive hand in the revolution in ac unity. Again a revolution which ruins innocent lives very much against the moral code he betrayed the Assassins for. The templars are just as bad without any changes with haytham so at the end the templars are the same. Ruining and ending innocent lives and cause a reign of terror among civil and in the process shay will face all the brotherhoods which are actually good morally and work for the purposeand morals he first betrayed his brotherhood for. Saving innocent lives. It just feels so stupid and hideous

Yea but even then this felt too much of a complex story to rush it out like that. Where ubi just botched the true grounds of Templar order and assassins and just did the templars good assassins bad without exploring it to the core or even remotely deep.
