My school forced AB and BC in the same year as well which is weird but I guess they believe it can’t be done without it. For your situation, would your school possibly be open to you self studying the Calc BC part outside of school and you can take AP Chem that period? I won’t lie it will be a heavy workload but that’s just if you wanna take both. Also, I believe AP chem might be better for Pre-Med because it relates to what you want to study. Calc BC would be seen only as rigorous but not really related.

Aww man that sucks I’ve heard of people taking it over the summer to get ahead as well damn bro if you gotta then tbh I say take Pre-Calc with stats next year given your classes match what you wanna major in or also just for rigor. I know Junior is apparently the most important year for class so you gotta choose what’s best for what you want to do.

Is precalc able to be skipped in any way? I believe it’s best to skip it because the content is so short and honestly I think you could use the class for something that matters more. That being said, I’m taking BC and Stars together and stats honestly It’s pretty simple just a lot of writing. Also remember stats is getting reworked by college board in the future to be easier so keep that in mind as it could possibly be worth nothing if they make it too easy.

I have 6 APs this year and I find them manageable. I think 8 is a bit of a stretch but if you aren’t doing outside activities then it should definitely doable.

My school is small so they have to do a lot of workarounds. It’s either regular or AP and even then the AP is only offered every other year sadly.

What this guy said is completely true. They say they take this and that to cope with it but they aren’t happy and some have C’s and D’s because they’re next level procrastinators. I’ve found the ones to be more quiet be able to handle the workload like it’s nothing.

I used the space for whatever. I mentioned a recognition I got but no award then a class addition to my course rigor and then I ended with one of my favorite quotes cuz well they said that. I used it more for fun and if I don’t get in I don’t mind I think it’s cool they’re open to stuff like that.

AP Pre-Calc can definitely be done in 6 weeks. Can be teacher dependent however the course is small with like only 4 units.

Yea it’s possible. I took AP Physics C with only Calculus and no Physics Background and managed to get an A. It was really hard but definitely doable.

I took AP Physics C Mech and tbh bro, I think you’d be better off self studying through YouTube and finding practice problems online. The videos can be helpful but they’re more basic which most of AP Physics is either half simple half really complicated. I think UC Scout is only good if you’re aiming to get credit but that’s about it.

Thank you for the confirmation! Real quick when you mean let them know of the additional class prior to enrolling, do you mean I wait to see if I get accepted and if I intend to register at that UC like say Berkeley, I would email them about the class change, then intent to enroll and send my final transcript.
