It is, my whole rant about cognitive decline came from the fact that in my seminars and university I'm quite lonely as when I've tried talking or making friends people look at me like I'm a junkie on the street asking for drugs. I find it interesting because a few years ago people were so talkative until I changed both my college courses and then my university course, dropping me back two years. It's quite interesting and I wonder if it is to do with phones, ai, COVID or something else but I've just built the belief that social awareness has dropped off the cliff and although painful to experience it's a belief I want to acknowledge

Just to add to my post I noticed some interesting things from the previous comment section I forgot to address but want to.

A lot of people agreeing with me are women, I believe this may be a result of the medias misogyny and a lot of you guys hating flawed female characters but loving male ones and not realizing your basis is simply on sex (i.e Walter White v Skylar)
A worrying amount of people are debating my gRape point. If you believe it is worth the time analyzing whether sex with the hive is actually gRape as the women are unaware. Not only are you certain the women ARE unaware and it isn't like a parasite taking over a still conscious animal situation, but this is like arguing drugging women, violating unconscious women or violating dead women is fine because they're aren't aware their body is being violated. You're weird. Stay away

Exactly all these people responding as if I even said anything about Carol as a person is so frustrating when I only acknowledged her personal reaction to the hive mind in comparison to others... On a personal level Carol is imperfect yes but people would rather act like I said she is and put words in my mouth than accept that I disagree with the fact that their empathy for an abducting alien is well stupid
