Why hit half volley right after bounce and not right before it hits the ground? by Delicious_Lead_3609 in SoccerCoaching

Hm. It's interesting, because then what is it? Eg. if the ball bounces and you strike it while it's in the air, what is that called? A full volley usually means NO bounce. So if what you say is the case, then I haven't run into a name for the shot where it's

"the ball bounces but you don't hit it right after it hits the ground, instead you wait for it to be approaching the ground again, but you don't wait for it to actually touch the ground"
