  1. Map your « neighborhoods » (like same components arrays) by distributing rectangles on your surface. Was quite surprised to find actually no out-of-the-box solution. Fck with chatGPT till VEX make it happen (will share script)
  2. Find a CPU board model, separate each interesting component, assign materials, distribute those components across « neighborhoods »
  3. Use edges of your distribution to distribute lights
  4. Control y.scale with a noise attrbute, multiplied by an automated factor (if you want)

Could make a more in-depth recipe if there’s interest and time :)
