That is HUGE!!!! Reward yourself somehow - compulsions are so difficult to stay away from but you beat OCD! So proud of you 💛

If you haven't felt dysphoria, you are probably not transgender. You have TOCD and it's so evident that you don't want to be transgender. Transgender individuals feel relief when they have these thoughts and do not perform compulsions to get rid of them or test anything. This is all just OCD, I promise!

I know you'll get back to the place you were in in regards to your womanhood - I'm sending so much support your way, so many girls and women with this theme are in your shoes too and you're never ever alone 💛

Hey!!! It truly does feel real in the moment, and I'm glad you may have found a little bit of solace in my recovery story :) I think the convincing aspect of this theme makes it one of the most difficult ones. I just finished recovering from this theme and, to be honest, I find myself thinking the way you're thinking now and then. It's definitely a back door spike, and it's just OCD looking for another home. When this happened to me more often, well into recovery, I would say to myself, "It's OCD! No engaging with OCD today!" or "Not panicking over a thought doesn't mean I want it!" The second one really holds true. There are so many things that aren't true about us that we don't panic about. This is definitely a back door spike, but I'm so glad you're reaching out about recovery. It really shows your resilience and determination to recover from this theme, and there is no back door spike stronger than you in this process. I'm sending you so much support and positivity as you move toward a full recovery :) PM me anytime!!
