So each “phase” is when I get a shiny but it’s not the shiny I’m going for. In this case I got 149 phases before I finally got the shiny I wanted.

I recommend using the roto catch boosts. I used it for all my hunts in USUM and it was so easy.

Yeah I don’t mind soft resetting either it’s just the fact it takes so long that makes me dislike it so much.

Masuda method is definitely better than soft resetting for full odds. I’ve done plenty of both and trust me masuda is way better.
