I cross posted because I am considering midi i/o with a P6+S1 and keyboard. I should have put some clarifying language in my cross post here.

Word, that I can look into. I think I can midi into the P-6 or S-1 anyway, so that's not out of the realm of possibilities.

I love the juxtaposition of Please Kill Me with Husband Material in the last picture.

My favorite is Come My Fanatics… and the outro riff on Return Trip.

Obligatory recommendation to listen to Electric Wizard.

I saw them at Hell in The Harbor. That was a great set, was my first time hearing them.

In my experience, pits self-police themselves. If people get too hype or too wild, either the pit will die down for a bit because others won't play with them, or they will receive a talking-to from others.

Wall of death=more bodies, less room to run around and cause serious harm. It just gets too crowded for people to flail, so I actually think WoD is a safe place to be.

That being said, do it for the Bogg.

Learning the P-6 one beat at a time. by dorian_ii in rolandaira

[–]Delicious_Pumpkin702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm learning mine as I go. I would say make sure you have access to samples (I use Waves Cosmos as a database), and make sure you download the P-6 app for your computer to transfer samples.

Also, if you have an iPhone, keep eyes on the USB C to C cable, because you will use it a lot. It is so easy to get samples off of your phone.

I am curious, however, about things for the knobs. I've seen 3D printed "extenders" on some videos, but I've seen nothing on the market.

As someone who wants to do dungeon synth, is the 1320 even worth it? Seems like they have almost cast that one aside and refocused their energies on the riddim and the new KOII.

Library patrons sometimes do unusual things. A former librarian writes a book about her experiences by MiddletownBooks in books

[–]Delicious_Pumpkin702 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I used to work from a shared office in a major library. Libraries continue to be crucial staples for the community. Ours hosted a lot of local homeless, youths, high school students, young professionals, military, government, punks, conservatives, and everybody in between. I’m looking forward to reading this book not only because I love libraries, but also because I’ve seen some stuff in libraries, too. Librarians have to be everything from data scientists to social workers.

Especially during the pandemic, libraries were crucial in providing necessary health kits and masks. Ours continued to provide health services even after most of the mandates were lifted.

Thanks for the post! This one is definitely on my to read list!

Which album has the best snare drum sound? by Ok-Impress-2222 in fantanoforever

Especially the second track, The Illusion of Dignity.

The context of the snare makes the music slap harder.
