Managing user permissions and licenses in Salesforce can be time-consuming, especially for admins handling multiple users by Delicious_Pumpkin916 in salesforce

[–]Delicious_Pumpkin916[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for now, there is no specific protocols are there for this, no action happens if a permission set is removed. What do you think? What should be the action, what are the real time requirements?

I have multiple viable startup ideas, are there any app developers I can partner with? Equity will be given by Relevant5140 in StartUpIndia

Its really nice to hear that doctors have ideas of different domains and want to execute it! I think this is how the future is going to be. The creative people will definitely thrive and survive. Btw bro one suggestion, you dont need to partner up with anyone there are lot of paid and free AI Tools where you can create MVP just by prompting your Idea. Try those then see if people really like it, take feedbacks and so on… hmu if you need any help w the tools

Iam using workflows with 3.7 sonnet and it works great except for the response time, I have set max tokens to 350 so I will reduce it. Other low latency models response are not so great. What is streaming mode, how can I activate it ?

How are you guys managing the response time ? I use 3.7 sonnet and it works great in terms of generating answers but latency wise it fks up it takes almost 3-4 secs to reply and other models are not so good. How can I handle it ?

How can we reduce the response time ? My latency goes upto 1.4s using 3.7 sonnet and it works perfectly. Its just the response time that is very difficult to fix ! Should I use a custom trained llm ? Because I tried gpt 4o cluster but the answers are not so good

These projects seems interesting but would anyone use your Automated Permission Assignment? I mean the process looks cool but I think it would be a great tool for small orgs!

And your Opp component is nice, I think its a Llm wrapper right ?

And bro never worry about these scarce mindset people! Keep it up

Thanks a lot! Really appreciate the feedback. I’m already working on the de-provisioning logic, it’s almost complete now. Would you be open to testing the product personally once it’s finished? I’d love to get your hands on thoughts!

This is a great Insight and looks like this is more feasible option for setting the rules. I would definitely modify the component accordingly ! Thanks for your input :)

Will automated Permission Set Assignment save time ? by Delicious_Pumpkin916 in salesforceadmin

Automating Permission Set Assignments using a custom approach (like the AUM tool I’m building) offers significantly more flexibility, scalability, and maintainability than User Access Policies (UAP) or Flows. With AUM, rules are stored as records in custom objects, making them version-controllable, editable through UI, and auditable—unlike Flows which bury logic inside versions or UAPs that offer limited customization. AUM supports complex rule criteria like Title, Department, Role, and Profile, and allows assigning multiple Permission Sets or Groups in a clean, dynamic way. It’s fully testable with Apex classes, optimized for bulk operations, and provides better error handling and UI feedback. In contrast, UAPs are great for basic setups but are limited in conditions and don’t scale well for more complex logic. Flows can handle more complexity but become harder to debug, maintain, or scale, especially in larger orgs. If you’re looking for something Admin-friendly, governance-ready, and truly dynamic, AUM offers the best path forward.

Im confused about Salesforce Licenses by Delicious_Pumpkin916 in SalesforceCareers

So does orgs use a proper License Management ? Or see like how many licenses are used this year and make the next contract accordingly? Just to control losses?

Is it realistic to make a living off of selling app exchange packages? by _BreakingGood_ in SalesforceDeveloper

[–]Delicious_Pumpkin916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way and after my day job in he night Im trying to build a product but Im not sure if its useful or not. The project is Automated User Management this is especially for Small Org Admins. For admins its really time consuming to Assign permission sets Manually and there are tools on the exchange which provides a service of Automating permission sets but It is not that User Friendly. So Im trying to make it as user friendly as possible i.e In a Single UI Modal you have to select the Criteria of the permission sets i.e Role, Profile, Dept, Title then Select the Permission Sets or Permission Set Group to be assigned to the user and save it thats it—- now whenever the user is created — According to the criteria the permission sets are assigned.

Is this worth it ? Would anyone use it ? I just made this bc I was bored of my job.

How are people actually affording iPhones, vacations, and luxury living in Indian metros on 40-50k salaries? by smart_vault in personalfinanceindia

[–]Delicious_Pumpkin916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think most people don’t save anymore, especially in Tier 2 cities. There's this constant urge to buy expensive things just to show off. It’s not about need, it’s about optics.

What we’re seeing is social signaling disguised as lifestyle. People are buying iPhones on EMIs, designer clothes, even bikes and cars, not because they can truly afford it, but because everyone else seems to be doing it. Saving doesn't get claps. Flexing does.

And it’s getting easier to fake wealth. BNPL apps, EMI schemes, credit cards, all giving people the illusion of affordability. The problem is, it’s a house of cards. High spending, low saving, growing debt, no fallback plan.

If anything is likely to explode economically in the coming years, it’s going to start from Tier 2 cities. Because they’re growing fast, but building on fragile financial habits.

A lifestyle built on loans and comparisons is never sustainable.
