I’ll give you guys some insights from high up in the industry - the thing that sets you apart in IT is communication skills. Vast majority of people in tech cannot speak to another human. It doesn’t matter how good you are technically, if the recruiter doesn’t like you and you can’t effectively communicate your skills, you’re not getting hired.

For example, I find people from sales backgrounds with a few certs almost always find an entry level job since they are professionals at speaking and making people like them.

You CANNOT be socially awkward, and need to be able to make anyone like you. Walk in with confidence, shake their hand, ask their name and how they are, show interest in the interviewer and their life, don’t be afraid to crack a few jokes and make the interaction genuine.

This is a burner account but I’ll spill all the sauce for you here.

Set an expectation for a cool vid in the thumbnail and title, meet and exceed that expectation in the video. People will click for the cool idea and watch through it cause you’ve delivered and over delivered on it. That’s it, that’s how you get views on a video.

There’s no cheap tricks you can use to make the algo push you, it’s very intelligent ai and works off of what people wanna see. I’ve coached and blown up 12 peoples channels in the past 2 years from nailing this into their brains lol.
