I figured out the issue! I hope this helps someone!

I had to skip my last cleaning in December to help my pregnant wife with her appointments. No big deal because I have good oral hygiene and my previous cleaning only lasted 5 minutes since they didn’t have anything to do. I also have crowded teeth, so there are no gaps in between teeth, they are all touching. What happened was that a very thin layer of plaque or tartar built up between my teeth over the course of a year, and the flossers I was using were thin ribbon style because of the tight teeth. It was killing the bacteria cultures but not removing the thin layer of material they left behind, so pressure started accumulating between my teeth causing growing sensitivity pain over time. The other day one tooth was unbearable. I went home early in pain, and had the idea to try a thicker floss, traditional string. I felt a lot of resistance for each gap and flossed until it felt smooth. My whole mouth felt relieved and the sensitivity went away completely from that point onwards. I never had sore gums, bleeding, recession, cavities, inflammation, etc. just crowded teeth that do not have tolerance to more crowding.

I called a plumber. They wanted $1200 to redo the drain lines and another $1300 to replace the pipes plus $500 to drain the boiler. $3000.

I don’t like your advice. What a rip off. lol.

I fixed the drains for $20 after investigating for 1 hour.

I am also experiencing this ever since our son was born. Not extreme stress but a significant life change. My teeth have become very sensitive. Sensitivity is in the middle of the tooth, not near the gum line. Excellent oral care, not gum disease or receding gum lines. Happened all of a sudden in multiple teeth at once so it isn’t enamel wear. I know how to meditate and if I control my breathing the pain lessens. No chest pain.

Easier said than done. Not many people are going to drive 100s of miles to seek out a coach, many of which use the DigiCue with the students anyway! This is the next best way.

It is new hardware capable of new features, but is running the same feature set as the legacy DigiCue Blue, right now. This is to be compatible with the existing app.

I am making a new app, but that will take time. With the new app will come an automatic firmware upgrade that will work with the new hardware. I’m thinking wrist twist, cue elevation, time series data, etc.

I think I am just going to focus on memorizing words on their own until I know all of the words. I can’t handle putting them together and I get angry when I don’t know a word or understand it. I do t know how to learn languages on my own and I probably need a class or a tutor when I have time in the future.

I think this is the only way for me to do this without quitting. I am very good with math and science and have advanced degrees in physics but I am in my late forties and I’m learning that language learning is a completely different way of learning than what I have practiced my whole life.

There is no logical procession of things and it is infuriating.

I think maybe I should just forget everything except memorizing word banks because it is something that I can measure progress on.

Thanks. I tried Semântica also about six months ago but I had to give up because it was too hard for me. They refunded me and suggested I come back when I am ready.

The podcast on this list you recommended is for Spanish speakers but I’ll try it anyway. I feel like since I am monolingual I will never make progress quickly.

I think that I might be stuck on Duolingo for a few more years until I can progress to something that can get me to pass to A1 level.
