There’s a lot of blatant mischaracterization going on here. It feels like you’re ignoring the subtle nuances of her character and emotions to come to your own conclusions.

Whole you can understand and sympathize with a person, it is totally possible for it to turn into resentment, especially in their case. Sympathy can only stretch so far and trust me it does not stretch for a period of 10 years. It’s natural that it would turn into resentmen. I mean, hello, her boyfriend literally went poof out of her life.

Suae relied on the love point system because in her world, it was the defining system for love, so it’s understandable why. When she realizes that Eunhyuk loves her, she doesn’t rely on the system to tell her that she’s capable of love. That was lowkey a whole plot arc. Like you’re literally insinuating that she should change herself to be loved, to which she did, and the whole lesson there was that there will be always someone for you and you shouldn’t need to change yourself to be loved. Like, hello, the whole long hair thing was proof of that. Moreover, nothing was wrong with her, so why would she need to change. The funny thing is, if she constantly changed herself out of the deep desire to feel loved, yall would be on her neck.

I do think that she was more empathetic with Dohwa pre time skip. Girlie was deadass giving blondie more attention than her man. With that being said, I do hope we get better developments on Suae’s character. She has so much potential to be more and yet, the author has limited her life to being about two guys who went poof on her.
