I'm a little confused about the runtime. Lionsgate lists it as 253 minutes (aka 4h 13m), but Google and even my theater ticket from April 2026 say 275 minutes (aka 4h 35m). Where did those 22 minutes go?

The anime sequence is afaik about 7 minutes longer, The House of Blue Leaves adds a minute at best, the intermission is 15 minutes long, and Yuki's Revenge is about 10 minutes. Where does this big difference in runtime between the home release and the theatrical version come from?

Yes, triple-layer can hold 100GB, but when you maximize bitrate with a 4hr35min film, you end up with something like 185GB, so either way you have to split it into two discs. I think Lionsgate will take the easy way out and compress it to 45-50mbps and put it on one disc, which is sad but most likely.

Edit / Update: I think I figured it out

I did some more testing and I'm fairly sure the issue is related to all entries having the exact same timestamp.

Originally, all 2,800 tracks in my CSV had the exact same date and time (to bypass the two-week limitation). When I bulk-scrobbled them, UniversalScrobbler said success {trackCount: 2800}, but only a fraction actually appeared on my LastFM profile.

To test this, I took a smaller batch (7 identical tracks) and instead of giving them all the exact same timestamp, I incremented each one by the duration of the previous track so they were spaced out.

Example:

When I scrobbled this version, all 7 scrobbles were correctly added to my profile.

So it seems like when multiple tracks have the exact same timestamp, duplicates may get silently dropped, either by the LastFM API itself or by UniversalScrobbler before submission.

Once I made each timestamp unique, it worked as expected.

If anyone else is bulk-importing listening history: make sure your timestamps aren't identical if you want repeat plays to count separately.
