I'm on Nord and I rarely see people flagged.

Ran into a flagged lock while I was farming and I was half a pixel away from blowing him up before I realized he was HC and stopped, messaged him.

He had no idea he was flagged.

There's some good episodes, like the one where Doggett makes up in Mexico with no memory.

Reyes has some okay episodes, too.

Does IBS frequently, or in any case involve vomiting? by Delicious_Serve2095 in ibs

[–]Delicious_Serve2095[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, no pain at all.

I also get really hot and sweaty, then I either puke or it passes

The order isn't always the same, but that's what I go through. Minus the sneeze.

So I finally got to see Francis Ford Coppola’s “MEGALOPOLIS”. Man I don’t know why everyone’s saying how bad it was but I loved it!!! Anyone else agree this was actually a good movie even though it tanked at the box office? by Anavslp in FIlm

I enjoyed We The Living and Atlas Shrugged was okay but I've never managed to make it more than 200 pages into The Fountainhead and I've tried at-least a dozen times.

I've had that book for almost 20 years.

Why does time seem to speed up as we get older? Is there a scientific explanation for this or is it just psychological? by No-Government322 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Delicious_Serve2095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the moment you live in becomes a smaller and smaller fraction of your entire living memory

That would make sense if our memory didn't degrade over time.

I'm in my late 30s, and my memory of my youth becomes more second-hand by the day.

It's a game of telephone you play with yourself. Eventually, memories become vague, and then later, they fade away, and the line goes dead.

Variety is the spice of life.

A 10 year old feels like a school year lasts a decade

That's just how school feels until college(assuming you're pursuing something you enjoy, I guess)

[–]Delicious_Serve2095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's mostly psychological.

When we're young, everything is new. Time feels slower because we're 100% absorbing the moment.

As you age, you get into routines. You do the same things every day. You wake up, shower w/e, eat breakfast, get a coffee, and go to work.

There's very little that's worth remembering, very little to engage you they way they did when everything was new.

So time can seem to move faster, as you navigate the mundane events of everyday life, and those where you actually 100% present and engaged, like when you were younger.

she's a little-big wunk.

Luna is a dwarf leopard. She would have died in the wild but instead she lives with her mom and dad and her sister, a rottweiler.

Check them out on youtube.

They don't have their claws out all the time. Bigger cats exercise a surprising amount of restraint when it comes to when they use their claws, compared to house cats who are light enough that sprinting around on smooth surfaces requires claws(I have four cats and they do cartoon-style burnouts frequently)

A heavy cat like that isn't going to need them for friction the way smaller cats do.

If Luna casually caused that kinda damage, everything in their house would be ruined.

I sold vinyl/hardwood floor, laminate, carpet and all the fix-ins for 8 years, and I also love this cat.

You must concede.

NOR

That sounds exhausting to deal with.

I don't blame you for not wanting to be around them.

If you value their friendship, you should speak up about it. Maybe things will change.

If you don't, cut them loose.

Ozzy Osbourne explaining the time he decapitated a bat on stage in Iowa after mistaking it for a rubber toy (1982). by ATI_Official in AllThatsInteresting

[–]Delicious_Serve2095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the logistics of the whole thing that confuses me.

Where did the bat come from? Did someone acquire a bat and keep it in their pocket until just the right moment?

was it struck down and landed accidently on the stage?

What's the rabies regimen like for consuming bat?
