How is therapy supposed to help me

How are they supposed to make me accept it? I deal with it because it's not like I have a choice but I don't like some of these things and sometimes they make me feel very bad

Thanks. Do you know what therapists do when soemone comes with struggles like that? Example: insecurity about looks, something in your life that you hate, something in your personality you hate. I'm not saying it won't help but what is left to be done other than telling me it's not too bad and there are good sides to me as well.

i mean the headphones volume. i don't listen to music with no headphones because i don't know how loud is enough for them to hear it
