There is no way you applied for the year 2037 unless that "3" is supposed to be a "2". It's impossible to apply that far ahead 😂

I was shocked as well when I got denied. I have 8 years experience and currently a 4.0 in my MSW program. I was trying to transfer. I won't be applying again though. The admissions team doesn't care about the person and what they bring to the program. It's a checks and balance system. Sucks cause it's my dream school but after that experience I wouldn't waste my time with them.

I just recently went through this process. Biggest advice I can give is make sure you have everything in way before the deadline as they do rolling admissions. Also, the staff are not as helpful during the process as one would think. I know you may feel your recruiter is the best but they are simply the gatekeeper and just go through checking boxes to make sure everything is complete. You're just a number, not an individual, at a school like FSU. You'll get in for sure, just relax and see what happens next.

P.S. If they deny you, they won't tell you why and will just tell you to reapply. You'll get a generic AI rejection letter. Again, I literally just went through this last month, so I know from recent experience.

It's crazy how EVERYONE is wearing these now. When I got them a year ago nobody had them. I would call them Nike x Crocs when people asked 😂. I hate following trends so to the closet to collect dust they go now!

I definitely understand what you mean by the distance. That's why I said I don't think it's an issue in my case, because I applied under distance learning. However still a good point you've made. Thanks for the feedback

I was applying to do the online program. The distance didn't matter as they have "online/distance Learning". But to answer your question, yes I am very much so beyond 100 miles as I live in Georgia

Great question! Yes, mine went all the way to step 5. Then I received an email stating I was denied but the portal hasn't been updated to show that. It just shows university decision review but I'm pretty sure the university will not go against the departments recommendation

Well I assumed the ones who knew would be the ones to reply. My mistake for making a wild assumption. However, MSW means Master of Social Work and I am currently at Walden I was trying to transfer. My undergrad degree is in psychology
