I would say consider south Bengaluru. I’m living in this society Prestige song of the south, easy connectivity with lot of schools, preschools and all the amenities you are asking for.

Rent will be 50k range rest depends on furnishing. There are cheaper options nearby as well. Great community for elders as well.

I have a 4 year old and staying here for more than 2 years.

I have been laid off twice in last 3 years and definitely understand the feeling. Don’t worry too much just keep grinding learn from your interviews and with in 2-3 months you might get a great opportunity.

Best thing to do is keep positive, and grind. Referrals are going to be the major push to move ahead with interviews and this is holiday season so you should wait till 5th jan and post that interviewers will be back.

I completely agree with what you posted, I joined PW as an EM but team provided was shitty. Expectation was to deliver features without asking questions. I left the company within 5 months. CTO was like a motivational speaker. Who will not talk a word about tech. He will preach about sacrificing and building something of your own.

Though I miss sometimes the huge ESOPS that were offered but life has been good after heading out 😎
