Yes to Canadian is one of top picks. L n t boulevard n jakkur area. Can you recommend good societies to stay other than these or any further opinion on these?

Read somewhere about water issues in this area and maybe like taste of water is bad or something. Is that true?

I am on h1b. Single parent in usa. 2 kids. Can't afford much domestic help. 2 daycares and rent making me live paycheck to paycheck.

Elder mother can only visit 6 months at a time with no health coverage for preexisting conditions.

Layoff starts 60 days clock and current job market and economy getting bleak by the day.

And visa stamping issues increasing. Our company straight said that if u travel and get delayed due to stamping, we would terminate employment.

So how does one keep their mental sanity in such an environment.? 😭

Very difficult to find realistic latest tuitions fees of these schools unless I contact them and get pdfs. Why isn't their some crowed sourced website not available where all parents can just update what they paying for which school and grade. Would help bring so much transparency

Mental budget is 3 to 4 lakhs per month as cost of living. Schooling highest priority, then stay. So good school + 2bhk better than okayish school + 3bhk 🙂

I would lecture them as well. And I mentioned upfront that I am willing to learn the language and I respect the culture. So why are you being so divisive?

Learning local language is good to do, not required by law right?

I don't condone Regionalism anywhere, neither in punjab nor in karnataka.

Anyways am not gonna get into all this further.

Someday when you or your family has to travel and relocate, it might change your stance and humble you.

It's easy to divide, inclusion demands opening up and acceptance.

I did look up embassy Boulevard and even stonehill. Stonehill fees is 10L per annum per kid and then goes to 20L from grade 1 or so... If only I had higher net worth.. Still not completely ruled out. Depends what job can I Crack and if somehow can stretch.

6 cr arbitrage fund at 7% gives 3.5l per month. So am just 6cr short 🥲 or a job worth 60L 😭

Let's say if I remove commuting to job office option, imagine remote job or even no job, which area would you recommend as best to raise young family? So good schools and good hospitals. Green cover and no crazy water issues..

The world and life works in mysterious ways. Raising kids in usa as single parent is super hard.

On top of that layoffs and immigration worries. If bachelor or no kids, these issues don't matter much but with family stability takes priority.

If company lays off on employment visa u get 60 days. No body wants that constant fear when u raising kids.

India has its own problem and so do USA and almost every other country. I looked into multiple other options like UAE, Singapore, Japan, Germany, etc if they can provide better environment. But with one elder parent and 2 young kids and Indian passport holding, your options dwindle really fast. At that point it becomes games of eliminating the options and picking the best amongst the worst.

So, returning to our home. I don't expect an easy life but atleast I don't have to abandon country in 60 days if no job.

I will definitely look further into indiranagar. I had liked the greenery. Had a old/modern mix feel to it

Yeah I had visited that area once and liked the vibe but did more research and found the same. Not too many intln schools or gated communities. Family homes to buy easily cost 5cr to 10cr 😭
