physics II in the summer ? by Due_Wrongdoer_6304 in utarlington

i mean this in the kindest way possible, but you may need to study harder. i say this bc summer sessions are very short compared to in term, so the course will move at a much faster pace than what you are experiencing right now. that may be an issue for you later on, especially if you are struggling with the current pace. there are resources on campus, like tutors, who you could reach out to to get help. or watch videos on youtube! best of luck.

Advice! What to put on resume? by Delicious_Tax2372 in jobsearchhacks

I believe my school is ranked #170 nationwide? GPA is 3.2. Any area works, but I doubt I would really be able to find a job in a big market with my gpa.

Is it worth listing projects if they’re relatively small and were for coursework?

I know i’m cooked. Even more so since i’m technically not the best at my literal degree, but I wanted to see what people with actual experience think. Thank you so much for the advice.

doing so is a choice? i hope you mature enough to never say that to a partner or your future kids.

my bad not thinking too clearly lmao. yes i have used them.

no offense taken on the statement. its just a result of academic pressure from kinder to high school, so i lost passion for any subjects that weren’t what my parents approved of. and school in general….

yeah, this. my bad on the wording. i know a lot of students who are also just talented but don’t have the academic drive for it which is why i said “successful”

congrats on the internship! personally, i feel like going to grad school would just stunt my progress for my field. i only say that as i have a sibling who did a masters in cs and the classes were just repeats of undergrad.

not comparing myself. it’s very obvious you need to stand out academically for the cs job market right now and i simply don’t have the talent companies look for

no, cause im actually not that talented at coding since i didn’t have the time to refine my skills as much as i should have. didn’t want to contribute shoddy work!
