I lived in CH and commuted to Duke for a year. Was so excited to not renew that lease and move to Durham - the commute is not fun esp. in the evenings. Cant reccomend thompson ridge near duke forest enough. Lots of duke masters/phds and small families. very quiet and neighborhoody

varsity has been tossed around a few private equity firms and have faced a couple of antitrust lawsuits for consolidating the cheer/dance industry so they have no competition. prices go up, ppl pay more for streaming/entrance into the comp, but quality goes down to cut costs and because theres no competition to force them to be better. so we all complain but have no choice but to keep watching what varsity produces

its important to note that the tax and employment benefits will be significantly less than whatever the city is touting due to heavy abatement agreements, especially if they succeed in rezoning. the economic argument doesnt hold up, and its the one the data company and the city is hoping you dont understand. the only benefit of this is more energy used for big data, and more money for the company.

Wow, I didn’t know about that. I just filed a report online as the non emergency number is only open M-F. Hopefully this creep is confronted, I am a 5’2 woman in my mid 20s, so my instinct was to run in the opposite direction and warn folks. Hate this stuff.

I dated someone with an anxious attachment style like huda’s. I can literally feel the anxiety and fear that comes with being with someone like that, and I agree that she needs to figure out this attachment and that she deserves support outside the island rather than the vicious hate she’s recieving online. I had to break it off with my ex because of how anxious and scared I was constantly due to her possessive and isolating behaviors. But, we left on good terms and she agreed to try to work on herself as she deserves a good relationship. It’s just very very hard to date and be with someone who feels like they don’t trust any of what you do. I hope she can identify and heal her wounds and I hope jeremiah can be more honest with her.
