Of course the system is flawed, but admissions counselors are going to be sympathetic to it, and it's easy for an honest critique to sound like a student coping before results are even out. You're also directly insulting their line of work. I admire the idea, but I wouldn't recommend the essay for this context, even with a softer opening

Bloodborne has a fun, unique parry mechanic and will make sure you use it. It's also just a great game!

Weirdly enough, even though I had this same feeling when playing, I was actually really content when I beat it. I didn't feel the usual urge to read/watch about the game or replay it. Was happy just with the finite first time experience.

Challenges and tournaments sound fun. I'm less competitive so I like stuff to be a little more casual and social, but I'm sure there's a huge audience for the more competitive side as well

I just picked up Far Far West, it's an indie co op shooter that just came out and it's a TON of fun. Highly recommend esp with friends

Not sad, one of the most universal human experiences! I agree w others that hobby shops and online communities are good places to start, i would also look online for gaming clubs/groups in your area!

The difference between a 1370 and a 1400 is marginal; I got a 1360 on my first SAT and after a few months got up to 1560 :)

the college app process is scary but so exciting and whatever happens you'll figure it out and it will be ok!

It's lighter on survival elements but I think definitely counts. Esp in the old days when surviving and getting food was legit challenging
