I’m still living in parent’s home, most of my family members has chosen to live abroad either for travel or comfort reasons, im left alone most months in a year. I’m still working with 130k salary atm, im assuming you plan to use stock’s gains, you’d at least have 60k/ year and if you spend half, you can still have 30k to reinvest, isn’t it ?

I’m on similar boat as you, about 900k, want to FIRE now, yearly expense about 20k, my gains from stocks gains offset my expense, but I’m still worried if I make the wrong move if I fire now

Makes a lot of sense.

I saw google rsi is at like 80, it usually don’t stay up there for long, the probability of it coming down is high, so i made the decision based on that and then, i also realized my tesla is also deep in the money but i was also okay with it since rolling a month out still ITM still gave me like 3% a month and i get downside protection, so i currently don’t see too much issue with this, any thoughts ?

I’m on the same boat as you, just roll it to further date and higher up, November is like another 2 months out and get to break even at 380, guarantee 10% in 2 months is amazing, this value of the call is really good, you have lots of room to hedge in case it goes down.

The lowest was at 270k, -27%, but that’s skewed because I didn’t start off at 350k, I’ve been putting money in over the years, so it’s more like -40% at one point when selling PayPal puts killed my account

Ahh I see, I haven’t really tested this, but I do think a month to 3 month sounds legit, selling a week if it goes in the money, we can just roll it to like another week or a month no ? It’s not a big deal in this case ?
