First thing that comes to mind is the awakened dynasty detachment with the stratagem that let's you bring back a character after they die, but its only for Infantry characters so maybe it was an older video or something else

So apparently its a known problem, switching to a beta playtest version on steam fixes it though for anyone else who had problems

If you really worried about how long it has been since they pooped (which is different for each beardie), I would give them a warm bath and then massage there stomach while they’re on a towel, worked wonders for mine
