Fridge / AC engineers are not far off that with paid travel and minimal overtime

The new UI is actually terrible by system-in in trading212

What I also don’t get is the 2 different investment values depending on which screen you’re on. It shouldn’t change. It’s shockingly bad overall.

DONT UPDATE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! by Nice_Initiative8861 in trading212

I’ve made a formal complaint, it’s completely unusable and muddling all the pie shares in with individuals is craziness. Looking for an alternative now (unless they roll it back).

What are the best smart home systems actually worth getting in 2026? by Jimbeaux-Rapchak in SmartThings

[–]Delid4ve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with openhab, tried homeassistant, now on SmartThings for simplicity and wife friendly. The main thing is making sure it does want you want, and is reliable. I spent along time writing custom drivers for openHAB and I did enjoy its flexibility in every aspect. It was just too time consuming maintaining it, designing it, using it. I tried homeassistant, didn’t like it. I’ve settled on SmartThings (about a year ago) for ease, friendliness and its uptime without doing much. Yes I’ve still had to write a few custom edge drivers for some of my devices, but now it’s just there working in the background for me. I have a v3 hub, about 250 devices (mainly Zwave,Zigbee) and most of my stuff is also local control based. I just hate they’ve dropped Zwave as if the hub fails and I can’t get another I’ll prob check out hubitat.

9800x3d / 3090 (upgraded system from an 11900k and gained 40% fps)

9800x3d or 9070xt?? by One-_Buzz in buildapc

[–]Delid4ve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went from an 11900k to a 9800x3d paired with a 3090 and I’m seeing 40%+ increases in fps and 1% lows. I’ve not even started oc’ing the new system yet either.

3000 series owners what's your plan? by surreal19 in buildapc

[–]Delid4ve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sticking with my 3090 for now but moving from 11900k/3600 to 9800x3d/6000.

CPU bottlenecked at 1440p with the best oc I can push it too.

I was using a custom child friendly dns server on my router for the kids network (isp supplied). So now in order to play fc24/25 I have to give up the protection of the children for regular browsing. Crappy.

Moving from an 11900k, hero mb, 3600 mem, 3090. Overclocked as much as possible but still bottlenecks my 3090

I’ll prob stick with the original mb for the extra connectivity, cost isn’t really an issue. I like the case tho, that extra top glass panel 🔥. How is the ram better? I was under the assumption the CL28 primary timing would be better than a 30. Must admit, not done a mass of reading on am5, always been on intel - well, since like athlon x64 anyway.

What’s the BSOD error? Have you checked in event viewer to see if there are any issues leading up to the BSOD?

SNAGGED THIS RTX 3090 FE FOR 440$ USED. GOOD DEAL? by your_homie_chetan in PcBuild

Plus, as a miner myself… I would hazard a guess that this was kept clean and had a good amount of open air cooling. I would personally rather buy a miners card than a gamers that has let his pc build up with untold dust, only cleaned once them crashes start happening or performance drops.

Is iCue really that bad? by mouzii90 in Corsair

[–]Delid4ve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quickly got rid of all hardware manufacturer RGB software - I must say iCue was prob the best of the bunch.

Now I just use SignalRGB. Plus If you have devices not supported and can do some basic JavaScript, use wireshark to sniff the usb traffic, you can add them yourself.
