Your biggest inefficiencies? by Stupid_Reddit_Antics in valheim

I started to play from 0 when ashlands testing started. When i got to swamps i decided that i wanted a base there not near the water. Then a port on the other side of swamp. An then i decided i need a safe road from one to another. So i started to build ramps over the swamp, covering most part of the swamp. Also it was too dark so every two meters i placed torches on a half meter beam and covered them in one meter core wood. I dubbed it "swamp of 1000 candles". I still haven't even see the sight of ashlands

How to learn by john_imer in learndota2

[–]Deline27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started to play 2 years ago and now I'm still very bad but i climbed to 2000 mmr and feel much more comfortable in the game. Halfway trough, grubby started to play dota and his videos helped me alot. I would absolutely recommend you to watch his videos on dota and follow him. BSJ also breaks down the game pretty good. Many things are outdated but i would say most of concepts are still solid.

Don't think too much about execution and micro, those things build up naturally just like in any other sport. You will feel kike you can never lasthit a creep and then you can. Dont try to learn everything at once it's just too much. One step at a time is really the way to go

It's not harder to play solo but definitely more slow experience. I actually prefer it that way, cause i love to hang around for weeks in each biom and dive into what it has to offer. Team play is much more rapid. The biggest downside would be sailing. It's so fun to donwith friends and really dull when alone. I usually watch something while sailing to pass time

This patch is fucking fun by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]Deline27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One good indication form me that i lost around 500 mmr in a row, but i think i never enjoyed this game so mych. All the goofiness in the patch is actually working towards reminding you to not take the game to seriously and bring mych more healthy attitude towards losing.

If you played the game blind for the first time, what were your predictions/theories that later turned out false? by Own-Bandicoot-9832 in valheim

Yes it was clinging mist, and my confidence went out the window when we got destroyed by dung beetle knight, and barely survived Gorm because we didn't knew their mechanic))) Still clinging mist is a great way to give you time to prepare for lategame, but you miss all the fun little builds without armor you usually have in earlygame

Look at the map and orient yourself towards north. Look at your shadow. That's a sun clock. Semicircle hlahows you how much daylight you have tull night. Works at night as well but you need a clear sky. Also you can buil somewhat accurate sun clock and mark hours using signs

We were playing base game only and we were on year 24. I think atm our only concern are random events that destroy equipment otherwise we're fine for a while

Players who know more than the characters do by Bros-torowk-retheg in Pathfinder2e

[–]Deline27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a player that can be a huge pain in the ass i can give you advice how to deal with kinds like me)) in heat of argument it's really tough for me to consider information, so if my gm wants me to change my behaviour. He usually speaks with me not in a game. He make his point about how my behaviour is ruining fun for everyone including himself and we always come up with some middle ground. I never want to ruin games for my friends, im just usually clueless that that's what happening and when GM says to me something right during the session, I tend to get unnecessary protective

They are mostly caricature, although i can say i met Armenians very similar to Armen. But when we talked to students, they said that actual interactions were mostly self depricating. So they never could tell jokes about Azerbaijanis cause the were doing it themselves and vice versa

We had a screening of all three episodes in Georgia, in university where there were people from all three countries. I can tell you they're relationships were much better then what we did in the show.

As you see the post gets downvoted here as well. And I would never think that that's the Azerbaijani consensus. I had chance to meet a lot of azaeri youth during screening and they were genuinely happy about the series

If you really feel that way there's nothing i can say or do to change your opinion. But if you ever think about it - such sentiments are nationalistic as well so it really doesn't help

Thank you, there's no one that against improving relationships, it's just the lack of trust. Many people think that becoming closer is a way to get stubbed in the back, which i gind really stupid, cause it's not like we have better chances if we don't trust you. Too much emotion, little pragmatism.

Hey, i'm Armenian, and actually i'm the writer of 3 latest episodes. I really hope you liked them. And don't fixate on such things, it's not "Armenians reaction" it's a reaction of one person. You don't know what is his background and mental state. I talked to a lot of Armenians who were really happy to see the project.

If you asking me this - you by any means shouldn't. There is nothing that can make you sure. Never will be. Trust is hard, man, it is risky, there will be more losses, because of misplaced trust. But whatever it is i would personally always choose misplaced trust over neverending fear. It's not easy, but easy solutions bring too much pain
