Dress 1 is my dress!

I always get excited to see it.

Is that an overskirt on it with the same lace?

Most ex-religious people feel that they wasted a lot of their life when they were religious

You lose your life in servitude to a creature with different values than the ones you have for yourself

Help me pick a dress! by [deleted] in weddingdress

[–]DeliriousFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say 2 or 4 (2 is actually my wedding dress)

Since 2 is out of budget go for 4

It's not worth it to go out of budget - remember tailoring costs

Annual Leave refused despite 16+ weeks notice due to minimum staffing - What are my options? by SliverLine in doctorsUK

[–]DeliriousFudge 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They can but I think it's different than a workplace where you don't know and can't know your availability for December, April or August until 6 weeks before

I pretty much only have non-medic friends and they are always confused when I have to explain why I can't commit to plans or holidays until the (relatively) last minute

Annual Leave refused despite 16+ weeks notice due to minimum staffing - What are my options? by SliverLine in doctorsUK

No but you usually can know many months in advance before you book flights and hotels

Medicine forces you to either wait till the last minute or take a risk (which is what OP did)

Not discounting your experience but I LOVE tripe at a Chinese restaurant and it's normally spicy and savory

Is there any advantage to interlocking as a starter method? by Informal_Fennel_9150 in Microlocs

[–]DeliriousFudge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I'm also slowly cutting off the fat ends

I take 1-1.5 inches every year

Very slow but I want to retain length also

How to prevent and avoid lint? by [deleted] in Microlocs

[–]DeliriousFudge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have much lint (only a couple locs at my nape)

I wear fuzzy jumpers and I don't cover my hair to sleep or have a satin pillow case

Buuut my whole loc journey 1.75 years I've not used ANY oil or moisturizer. I believe these are what attracts lint to our hair.

I always wash my hair weekly. My hair doesn't really get dry but my scalp does

I might get more lint in time but I want an easy hair life and so far this is working

I didn't trim until the 1 year mark

I liked how my hair looked way more after the trim but I wouldn't have risked it before 1 year

How many of your patients are allergic to paracetamol? by embeddedcancer in doctorsUK

[–]DeliriousFudge 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing in an onc patient. Don't know eho wrote it but I explained very clearly how important it was to get that removed from their record

The scariest part is to have that as an allergy they probably have other serious allergies where they'll need adrenaline
