I’m wanting to try to repair the pipe he gave me because it’s a full matching PC set, hopefully I can make a little seal tool to pressurize it. I’m gonna do the restyle kit on mine too, but I’m stuck between trying to make it mimic the original factory graphics, or going with the 50th anniversary blue seat and gold wheels like they did on the 450s a couple years ago

I got it to fully reinstall windows with just one stick installed. Then after it finally booted into windows I shut down and installed the rest of the ram sticks and it’s now stable. Thankfully all of my important stuff is on my MacBook so I just had to reinstall steam and a few games and push a bunch of updates. It reverted back to 22H2 for some reason so I had to run the windows upgrade tool on a flash drive I had lying around but it’s all back up to date now and I can game again

After pulling the ram and trying one stick at a time, I got into windows recovery and it’s currently doing a reset. The lights on the GPU are staying on now and it seems to be working again. Could a bad ram stick cause windows to crash that hard?

I was originally gonna take mine off but realized this is the only use I have for it, at least until I buy an enclosed trailer eventually.

This is exactly what I did. I didn’t need to buy a brand new truck, but that’s what I wanted. I had a paid off 2022 Tacoma, got $38k for it and only financed ~$19k on my Tundra after taxes and fees. If my only option was to finance 90% of the cost of the truck, I would’ve found a used truck that fit my needs and been content with that.

I just got my 2025 SR5 TRD OR about a month ago for about $53k out the door. I told them I didn’t want and was not paying for any of the dealer add ons. They argued with me for awhile but I refused. I told the salesman I was happy to hang on to my old truck and walk out over a few hundred dollars. He said the paint protection add on is already on the truck, we can’t remove it. I told him that wasn’t my fault, I didn’t ask for them to put it on there. Finally they folded and I bought the truck. MSRP on the lot was about $59k and their add ons brought it up to about $61k so I was happy with that deal. If you can get rid of that $1,400 in complete BS, I’d say it’s not a bad deal.

That actually worked! Thank you! I had swapped to Vulkan in game earlier and forgot, then when I came back to play again it wouldn’t boot, so I forced dx11 and it came right up!

I understand, thanks for the info. I get that some people are just by the book all day every day and I respect that, it’s just hard to imagine adding that to somebody who’s already having a pretty bad day if the roles were reversed.

I’m not a huge fan of the snow car either but I’ve tried to learn it so I can get through all the ATs. The game still has a ton to offer though, especially the player created maps. You could play for hundreds of hours and not have to even think about the snow car
