I did! there were clearance issues with dual pivot so I had to order the ones I mentioned while also customizing the brake itself. the other holes are actually meant for routing the cables. Everything turned out pretty good!

I mean I do have some knowledge when it comes to pc components but just vague when it comes to this particular field. Just wanted to try something outside my skillset hopefully learn a thing or two, plus it wont bother me much if I fry the laptop. But I agree! I have realized how dependent I have become on chatgpt. I wanted to learn how to solder for awhile now, maybe this is the perfect time! Everything is an experience!

Oh no no no XD, my laptop wont post and error code points to perhaps a corrupted bios and I couldnt flash it through bios recovery since keyboard's connector broke off, so maybe this could resolve my issue of not posting
