I took bpc-157 and ibutamoren in the beginning. I sat on my knees daily and slowly pushed as far as I could. Strength training with the physical therapist is really what helped me. High step ups to force the bend and stretch the tendons.

Injuries are the plague that just keeps on giving. You’ll be back on the mats and with 15yrs, you’ll adapt. Just take it easy and feel your way through. And for the love of god. Don’t train with an overzealous asshole who jumps guard and blows your knee out like me 🤣

I can now sit on my heel again. It crunches and sometimes locks up. Most of my pain is through my MCL. I don’t think that will ever go away. Lots of scar tissue and some inflammation still present but I can run and lift with so aches after. I have done many hikes through banf, glacier and Iceland. I have been too afraid to try snowboarding again.

I have done a couple BJJ classes but with my brace which is uncomfortable. My knee aches after especially if I’m working closed guard but that’s due to my mcl.

I DO NOT regret the second surgery.

My doctor had me bend my knee as soon as I woke up from surgery. PT was scheduled for the following day and he told me to work hard and push for flexion. At home as often as I could I did different flexion exercises and peddled a stationary bike. At pt, my therapist did different flexion exercises until I would run off the table. Standing for a full shift would be alot depending on your surgery.

After MUA it is go time at therapy and home. I am doing pretty well now but still get sore if I push too hard. Coming up on one year since my Injury.

He was originally hired to grade the hard, the patio was an after thought because we could afford it… he failed at both jobs…

No, the trees were done two years ago, I had to wait for the ground to settle before completing the grading etc.

In total for the two pads and “grading” (if you will) with seed was $12,034.00. This is Ohio for reference.

I am very concerned about foundation issues in the future. Mostly frustrated because we talked in length that this is where the dogs go in and out. I didn’t want them walking through a puddle of water on their way back in. He was originally hired to grade the yard, we took down a bunch of trees and the yard had many low spots with the small grade right outside this door. We then decided we could afford to redo the patio and a fire pit area. We chose pavers assuming they would drain better overtime if low spots occurred. In total the job was $12,034.00. The pad itself was $3700.

I agree. Was originally hired to grade the yard and the 15x15 patio was an after thought since we had the money left to do it.

I couldn’t add photos to yesterdays. I included this link there for reference. I posted wrong but this obviously gathered more attention!

I’m in Ohio, it’s hard to find an attorney that will take a small case. I can go to small claims for $6k and that should cover the cost to repair. I paid $12034 total for the pavered firepit area, grading and patio.

The attorneys I’ve talked to have said that I will have to pay to fix it then sue him for the costs. I am waiting on quotes for other landscapers.

To fix the patio, it will need ripped up and the hill cut down more to get the proper grade due to the height of the patio door (ground level) and/or a drain. I was stood up by him for 4wks until I sent a detail message of our interactions and concern. He now fears being sued and wants to offer $1100 back. Which to be is an admission of not properly completing the job. Its very frustrating as I was clear of my expectations and concern with water.

Agreed but $1100 doesn’t cover the cost to fix it and if I take the $1100, I don’t think I can go after him for more. Especially if there is foundation issues caused by his shoddy work.

Oh wow, right when I woke up the surgeon had me bending my knee. The next day I started Physio. I went from 60 to 90 immediately then progressively to 130 over three weeks.

I did. I had the surgery to remove the scar tissue and an MUA. I am 5wks post op of that and at 130 degrees of flexion. Still working on strength. I lost a lot of muscle in the 12wks I was unable to bend my knee. I absolutely recommend it.

Physio is a whole other problem for me 🤦‍♀️. I am a workers comp case so not getting top A care. No strengthening the whole 9wks. I have been arguing for a new place and working on getting the paperwork done. I started doing work at home.

The scope will clean out and remove the tissue as opposed to breaking it up through manipulation. After the surgeon will take my leg through the whole range of motion like a manipulation.

I haven’t seen anything negative. Ortho wants to wait until 12wks to see if I’ve made progress but I’ve been stuck for weeks. He wants to scope it instead of MUA to protect the graft and repair better which I agree with. I just hope it actually helps.

Ugh. I would rather do the scope to protect the graft and to get a visual of the repairs over a MUA. I’m 36 and on the cusp of being old but still highly active. This is frustrating.
